Bilotta & Company, CPAs, LLC is a remote-first accounting firm that serves clients nationwide while maintaining deep roots in Washington’s Puget Sound communities. Founded in 2023 and licensed with the Washington and Oregon State Boards of Accountancy, we provide advisory, assurance, tax, and Financial Stewardship as a Service® (FSaaS®) to nonprofits, contractors, businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals.

That is the short answer to who we are. The fuller answer is more personal.

We believe great accounting is built on more than accurate reports and completed filings. It is built on trust, curiosity, thoughtful communication, and a real understanding of the people and organizations behind the numbers. Technology lets us bring that approach to clients across the country. Our local relationships keep us grounded in the communities where our team lives, learns, volunteers, and builds connections.

Who is Bilotta & Company?

Bilotta & Company is a forward-looking CPA firm built to give clients more than compliance. Our team includes auditors, tax specialists, accountants, and advisors who connect technical expertise with practical business judgment.

Our founder and managing partner, Nick Bilotta, CPA, CFE, built his career across public accounting, nonprofit audits, construction clients, and corporate leadership roles at Starbucks and Zulily. Those experiences shaped the firm’s belief that strong financial leadership should create options, strengthen accountability, and help people make confident decisions.

Today, the Bilotta & Company team brings more than 50 years of combined experience across nonprofit accounting, construction accounting, assurance, tax, and CFO-level advisory. We work collaboratively, explain complexity in plain language, and focus on what will help each client move forward.

What services does Bilotta & Company provide?

Our work brings advisory, assurance, and tax together through one connected approach.

Advisory services

Our advisory work helps leaders improve financial operations, strengthen reporting, manage cash flow, plan for growth, and make better-informed decisions. Depending on the organization, that may include fractional controller or CFO support, process improvement, financial analysis, forecasting, or help building a stronger accounting function.

Assurance services

Our assurance team provides audits and related services designed to build confidence in financial reporting. We have particular experience with nonprofits and construction contractors, where industry requirements, funding relationships, job costing, internal controls, and compliance can create added complexity.

Tax services

We help businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals navigate tax planning and compliance. Our goal is not simply to complete a return. We want clients to understand their position, anticipate decisions, and avoid preventable surprises.

Financial Stewardship as a Service®

Our proprietary FSaaS® framework brings strategy, structure, and insight together. It is designed for organizations that need an enduring financial partner, one who can connect today’s accounting needs with tomorrow’s priorities.

Who does Bilotta & Company serve?

We work with clients who value clarity, connection, and responsible growth, including:

Nonprofit organizations that need resilient financial systems, accurate reporting, compliance support, and informed leadership.

Construction contractors that need stronger job-cost information, financial controls, tax planning, and strategic insight.

Businesses and entrepreneurs who want to improve financial operations and grow with greater confidence.

Individuals who need thoughtful support with tax planning and compliance.

Our best relationships are collaborative. Clients do not need to know every accounting answer before they call us. They do need to be willing to ask good questions, share information, and work with us toward a stronger financial future.

Can Bilotta & Company work with clients nationwide?

Yes. Bilotta & Company works remotely with clients across the United States. Secure cloud-based systems, video meetings, and a deliberately connected service model allow our team to collaborate across locations without sacrificing responsiveness or personal attention.

Remote service can be especially valuable for organizations that need specialized nonprofit, construction, assurance, tax, or fractional financial leadership expertise that may not be available in their immediate area.

Services are always evaluated based on the engagement, applicable professional standards, and jurisdictional requirements. The important point is that geography does not have to stand between a client and the right financial partner.

We serve nationwide—but we are local, too

Remote-first does not mean disconnected. Bilotta & Company has roots across Bonney Lake, Snohomish, Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood, Auburn, and Mount Vernon. These are communities where our people live, raise families, attend events, support schools, and build lasting relationships.

We make time to meet clients and referral partners in person when it adds value. We host and attend community and professional events. We engage with schools and local organizations. We also create opportunities for students to see what a career in accounting can look like.

Our connection to Western Washington is visible in our professional service as well. Bilotta & Company is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington, based in Bellevue, and Nick serves on the chapter’s finance committee. Nick also chairs the Accounting Advisory Committee at Shoreline College, where industry members help connect accounting education with the skills students need in today’s workforce.

Those roles are not separate from our client work. They keep us close to the issues facing contractors, employers, students, and community organizations. They help us listen, learn, and contribute.

What does “local” mean for a remote CPA firm?

For us, local is not a mailing address or a pin on a map. It is a way of showing up.

It means meeting people face to face when a conversation deserves a table rather than a screen. It means participating in the professional associations that strengthen our industries. It means helping future accountants understand how technology, judgment, ethics, and communication come together in the modern workplace. It means supporting community events, schools, nonprofits, and business relationships throughout the region.

And it means carrying those values into every client relationship—whether the client is in Western Washington or across the country.

A modern firm with a human approach

Bilotta & Company was designed for a world in which expertise can travel, collaboration can happen from anywhere, and clients should not have to choose between modern tools and real relationships.

We are proud to serve organizations and individuals nationwide. We are equally proud of our Pacific Northwest roots and the communities that continue to shape who we are.

If you are looking for a CPA firm that combines advisory, assurance, and tax with a proactive stewardship mindset, we would welcome the conversation.
